Michael J. Stone, 66 of Wildwood, passed away June 28, 2019 at his home. Michael was born July 16, 1952 in Highland Park, MI to Gerald and Marilynne (Newell) Stone. Michael moved to Florida from Michigan in 2001 and married his wife Ruth in 2004.
Michael proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Michael worked as an electrician for most of his working years. He owned his own electrical company for several years and installed wiring and hook-ups in the residential and commercial sectors.
Michael is survived by his wife Ruth Stone of Wildwood, mother Marilynne Stone of Michigan, son Garret Stone of Texas, daughter Seavon Chalmers of Chargin Falls, Ohio, step-son Thomas Shipman of Lancaster, NY, step-daughter Angel Aquila of Morrisonville, NY, step-daughter Stacey Manley of Whitesboro, NY, brother Douglas Stone of Florida, brother Tim Stone of Georgia, sister Diane McColl of Pickney, Michigan and 9 grandchildren.
Michael is preceded in death by his father Gerald Stone.
