Sandra Walker

Sandra Frances (Belcher) Walker passed away peacefully in her Wildwood Florida home on Wednesday, August 15th, with her family by her side.

She went by Sandy and was born March 21st, 1946 in Meyersdale Pennsylvania to Frank and Jeanette (Kennell) Belcher and had four siblings, Maureen, Donna, Merle and Louis.

On July 3, 1965 Sandy married Kenneth Roy Walker (deceased) of Berlin Pennsylvania. They soon moved to Youngstown Ohio where they raised their two sons Tim and David. She had a special love for her grandchildren Mark, David, Jessica and Rebecca, she often referred to them as the “love of her life”.

Sandy loved her cat named Music and her dog from her younger years named Flip. She loved playing on Pogo with her friends from all over the country and her special friend Lee from Canada. She loved playing cards, board games, listening to country and oldies rock and roll music. She loved Facebooking, reading, crime TV stories and novels, She especially loved her sisters Donna and Maureen, her son’s and family, and many friends from her retirement community. She loved her hometown of Meyersdale and talked about growing up there often. Her youth seemed magical like something from a Disney movie.

Sandy is survived by her son Timothy and his wife Lucy, David and his wife Tammy, and all
her grandchildren Mark, Jessica, Rebecca and David.
