Silver Alert issued for missing Villager last seen driving red Toyota Rav4

UPDATE: 87-year-old Villager Arthur Ayling was located in Citrus County.

A Silver Alert was issued Wednesday night for a missing 87-year-old Villager.

Arthur Ayling, who lives on Moncks Corner in the Village of Mallory Square, is 6 feet tall and weighs about 178 pounds. He was last seen at about 5 p.m. wearing beige shorts, a white shirt and a Navy blue jacket. He was driving a red 2015 Toyota Rav4 with Florida license tag Z65BMK, according to a report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

Anyone who knows Ayling’s whereabouts or comes in contact with him is asked to call the sheriff’s office at (352) 793-2621.
