To the Editor:
It appears that a voice of reason will not achieve any compromises or solutions on anything, with the radical left. Their usual group think response to legitimate discussions is personal attacks with coarse language and racial vitriol. Radical liberal programs and arguments for a better tomorrow seem to be; “Give me absolute power and enormous amounts of money so that I can control every facet of life, and if you disagree with me you are a #x*#x% racist that has been hypnotized by Fox News or president Trump.” Good luck with such a venal program and vile argument! As an independent, non-racist voter, I’m not buying that idiocy. My guess is that few independent voters will. Being oppressed under a university taught Marxist socialist government, unless you are one of the privileged few who create it, is obscene. Let’s emulate Cuba? American capitalism works! We are far from perfect and never will be. We can always improve and should, but our democratic republic is still the best government in the world and will remain so.
