A Villager recently spent time with her granddaughter at the United Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Villager Rose Comer recently spent time with family members at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo., after her granddaughter completed basic cadet training. Rose Comer, of the Village of St. James, visited with granddaughter Rachel Werner and other family members during the recent Parent’s Weekend at the Air Force Academy. Rachel completed basic cadet training on Aug. 8.

Comer was joined at the event at the end of August by daughter Dara McGonigle, son-in-law Robert McGonigle, and two other granddaughters, Leia and Samantha Werner.
