Executive golf course to reopen next week but three others to remain closed

One executive golf course in The Villages is scheduled to reopen next week but several others will remain closed.

Several golf courses have been closed in the past few weeks because of the excessive rain that hit the local area in the past month, as well as the need to move water throughout various retention basins in the community.

Here is the list updated Friday, Sept. 27 by the District Office:

• Heron (will reopen Friday, Oct. 4)
• Pelican
• Amberwood
• Hill Top
