Woman busted with 29 grams of marijuana obtained from father in West Palm Beach

A Lady Lake woman was arrested with 29 grams of marijuana obtained from her father in West Palm Beach.

Brittany Todd, 33, of 2930 Griffin Ave., had been driving shortly before midnight Monday on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 when she was caught on radar traveling at 55 miles per hour in a 40-mph zone, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

She consented to a search of the vehicle and the bag containing the marijuana was discovered. She said she got the marijuana from her father while she was visiting him in West Palm Beach.

She was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana and booked at the Lake County Jail. Bond was set at $2,000.
