Bandits sought after scratch-off lottery tickets stolen from Villages minimart

The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help in nabbing thieves who stole lottery tickets in The Villages.

The woman and man pictured above are wanted in connection with a theft last month of scratch-off lottery tickets from the Circle K at 3430 Wedgewood Ln in The Villages.

Sheriff’s deputies are searching for the man and woman pictured above, who entered the Circle K located at 3430 Wedgewood Lane at Southern Trace Plaza on Sept. 25 at about 6 a.m. The couple wandered around the store for a few minutes before the woman, who is possibly in her thirties and has a tattoo on her left shoulder, was seen stealing scratch-off lottery tickets from behind the counter.
