A driver was ticketed after a T-bone crash at a notoriously busy intersection in The Villages.
A woman had been driving a white utility vehicle at 11:12 a.m. Wednesday when her vehicle collided with an SUV in the intersection of Buena Vista Boulevard and County Road 466, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. She had turned into the path of the SUV.

Two men had been traveling in the SUV and one of them was transported by ambulance to The Villages Regional Hospital suffering from minor injuries.
The woman driving the white utility vehicle was cited for violation right away. Her vehicle was towed from the scene.
The intersection of County Road 466 and Buena Vista Boulevard is notoriously busy, especially during snowbird season. The intersection has been the scene of numerous accidents.
