Popular Villages band to perform at new dance club’s second gathering

A new Villages dance club is gearing up for its second event following a highly successful first gathering.

Members of the JTB Band all performed in other groups decades ago and have become quite popular in The Villages.

The Classics Rhythm Club will hold an event on Monday, Dec. 9 at 6 p.m. at the Odell Recreation Center. The JTB Band (Just the Boys), which consists of Villages residents who have performed in other groups decades ago, will provide music for the event. The band recently debuted at The Villages Long Island Club and has been gaining in popularity ever since.

Jimmy Cipollone, who serves as Maitre d’ at the well-known Paisans Club and as president of the Classics Rhythm Club, will kick off the event with the Pledge of Allegiance. That will be followed by a moment of silence to honor all veterans and first responders.

Tickets are $15 a couple and $8 per person and can be purchased at the door. Those with questions can contact Cipollone at Jpcipollone@comcast.net.
