Woman admits to slashing man friend’s tires at Oakleaf Villages Apartments

A woman has admitted to slashing a man friend’s truck tires at the Oakleaf Villages Apartments on County Road 466 in Lady Lake.

Riley Memmoli, 20, of Fruitland Park, has been ordered to appear Dec. 31 in Lake County Court to answer to a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief.

A 40-year-old Holly Hill man reported this past Sunday that three of the tires of his 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe had been slashed while it was parked at the apartment complex, according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

While a police officer was with the man taking the report, Memmoli called the truck’s owner and admitted she cut his tires with a knife. The officer took the man’s phone and asked Memmoli to come to the apartment complex so he could speak with her.

“Riley stated that she cannot believe she did it and wished she never did,” the officer wrote in the incident report.

Damage to the Firestone tires was estimated at $675.
