A pair of homeless trespassers was arrested at a house in Lady Lake where used syringes were found on the floor.
Officers were called to a house in the 800 block of High Street shortly before 3 p.m. Saturday to investigate a possible burglary, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.
Taken into custody were 35-year-old Robert Wesley Allen and 25-year-old Demi Lynn Mitchell Scrugham. They are both facing charges of trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were booked at the Lake County Jail. Bond for each was set at $2,000.
Allen was arrested in 2018 in the theft of a man’s wallet at a gym in Lady Lake.
