A nurse at UF Health The Villages Hospital was arrested Friday morning at her home in the Villages of Parkwood on warrants charging her with fraud.
Brooke Collette Hummell, 39, was arrested shortly before 9 a.m. Friday at her home on NE 124th Place on warrants charging her with two counts of fraud and one count of theft, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
The report indicated that Hummell works as a registered nurse at the hospital.
Bond for the Leesburg native was set at $5,000.
