Lakeside Landings has golf cart access to The Villages

To the Editor:

Realtors are selling homes in Lakeside Landings in Oxford for cheaper cost and telling that community they have golf cart access into The Villages through the parking lot at the Select Specialty Hospital off County Road 472.
How do I know this? I know people that are buying in there for that reason.
Funny thing is you cannot get into their community gates without a special code.
Stonecrest residents used to be able to get their golf carts into The Villages until The Villages put up a gate without a button to push. You must have a gate card now to get back into The Villages from Wal-Mart. If they don’t have a gate card, they stay in their own community.
I feel we have no security here these days.
And I feel that something needs to be done with that golf cart gate at that hospital golf cart entrance so it is only for Village residence.
Where is our security that we bought into?
