Restaurant servers don’t earn enough to make ends meet

To the Editor:

In all the finger pointing trying to lay blame for the difficulty in getting workers to come back because they can get more from unemployment than salaries, I haven’t seen anyone bring up the fact that these workers’ pay is so small that they CANNOT make ends meet working for their current salaries and are forced to work two to three jobs just to pay rent and pray that no one in their family gets sick.
By the way has anyone gone food shopping lately? But that’s a story for another time.
