Where were the flags on Flag Day?

To the Editor:

I live in the Village of Summerhill. Woke up Monday morning and I was so disgusted, there wasn’t a flag to be seen.
I have a corner lot and had all my flags out. Granted “New Hope” and a few other streets had flags out and I thank you for this. One lady asked why the flags? I said go look at a calendar. I am a veteran. What is the problem with people not respecting our flag and our nation? Shame on you!
