Seats are still available at the ABC of Dementia workshop that will be conducted at the Lady Lake Library at 225 W. Guava Street in Lady Lake on Thursday, Sept. 9. The event, to be conducted 10 a.m. to noon, is free and open to the public.
The workshop explains Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, provides techniques for better communication with an individual living with dementia, and suggests techniques for becoming a better and less-stressed care partner.
