Pauline “Polly” Erksa, 85, of The Villages, Florida, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021. Polly was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania by her late parents Thomas and Anne Watson. She went on to meet the love of her life and husband of 64 years, Edward John Erksa, who preceded her in death in 2019. The couple relocated to the Northern Virginia area where Polly worked for over 20 years at Reston Land Corporation as a word processor and eventually as an Administrative Coordinator. After moving to The Villages in 1993, she worked for the Properties of the Villages in commissions and statistics until her retirement at age 80. Polly is survived by her daughters Linda Kane and her husband Michael, Sharon Erksa, and Judy Erksa; three grandchildren, Carrie Ward, Eddie Christensen, and Niara Kreinbring; and two precious great granddaughters, Finn Delilah, and Mila Rose.
A visitation for Polly will be held on Wednesday, December 8, from 4pm-6pm, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, 3975 Wedgewood Lane, The Villages, FL.
Interment will take place on Thursday, December 9, at 12pm, at Highland Memorial Park, 1515 NE 3rd Street, Ocala, FL.
