Officials will review a $5.2 million bid for executive golf course renovations in The Villages.

Landirr Inc.’s bid will be considered next week by the Project Wide Advisory Committee.

The breakdown of the bid is as follows:

Bogart & Bacall – $2.22 milllion

Bonita Pass – $974,917

Heron – $1.081 million

Truman – $1.008 million

The golf courses will receive a full renovation consisting of new greens, tees, fairways with new turf varieties, new bunker sand and underdrain systems, as well as other course enhancements.

Landirr Inc. has been in charge of several recent golf course renovations in The Villages, including the Chula Vista Executive Golf Course and the Amberwood Executive Golf Course.

Last year, golfers in The Villages were in an uproar over “atrocious” conditions at the golf courses. Their anger set in motion numerous improvements to the courses, which are considered one of the most attractive features of The Villages.

PWAC will meet at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 10 at SeaBreeze Recreation Center.
