A homeless man in Lady Lake was arrested for trespassing at his brother’s home after taking a fishing pole and shoes off the property.
An officer responded to 34-year-old Sean Glenn Rigsby trespassing on his brother’s property in Lady Lake at 1:05 p.m. Saturday, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. Upon arrival, he found Rigsby on a neighbor’s property, so he talked to his brother on his doorstep.

The brother explained that Rigsby was homeless and had been trespassed from the residence. Just before he contacted law enforcement that day, Rigsby showed up at his front doorstep by coming through the backyard. He then grabbed a fishing pole and a pair of blue men’s shoes before leaving the property, the report said.
The officer asked the brother if Rigsby was ever invited onto the property, and he said no. This has been an ongoing issue. This time, he had video surveillance of Rigsby coming onto his property, the report said.
He showed the officer a video from the front door that showed Rigsby approaching the residence. Dispatch also advised that he was previously trespassed from the residence on May 4, 2023. He had also been arrested four times within the last six months, the report said.
Rigsby was arrested and charged with trespassing. He was transported to Lake County Jail with bond set at $500.
He has been arrested twice in the past for trespassing at his brother’s residence, including in May 2023 and Jan. 2017. He was also arrested for bathing in a service station in May 2025.
