The Town of Lady Lake will begin its 2025 Milling and Paving Project on Monday, Aug. 11, with work scheduled through Monday, Aug. 18.

The project will be completed by contractor Rose Paving and includes resurfacing various neighborhood roads throughout the town.

Motorists can expect minor delays and temporary access restrictions while work is underway. Residents are advised that during work hours, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., access to roads under construction will be limited and directed by on-site crews. Full access will be restored during non-working hours.

In some areas, roads will be milled prior to paving, which may result in an elevation drop of up to two inches. Drivers are urged to use caution and travel slowly in these areas.

To ensure the safety and efficiency of the work, residents are asked to remove all vehicles, boats, trailers and debris from the roadways between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on the day work is scheduled in their area.

Scheduled Work Dates and Locations:

  • Aug. 11–12: Overlay work on Hanging Moss, Teal Lane, Shady Oak Lane, Forest Park Lane, Shannon Lane and Hidden Oaks Drive. Milling will also begin in the Hidden Oaks area and Whitney Way.
  • Aug. 13: Milling at Courtyard Villas; paving of Whitney Way and Orange Street.
  • Aug. 14–15: Paving of all roads within Courtyard Villas.
  • Aug. 18: Final paving work on Rosemary Lane and West Lady Lake Boulevard.

During certain phases of the project, access to driveways may be temporarily blocked. Residents are encouraged to plan accordingly.
