A Villager with a suspended license landed in trouble again after he was caught driving recklessly.
Milo Karhu, 61, of Creekside Landing, was driving a white Ford F-350 truck at about 3:30 p.m. Aug. 19 westbound on County Road 466 when he “made an aggressive lane switch” and cut off a smaller vehicle, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. The smaller vehicle showed evidence of “hard braking” when its front end dipped.
An officer initiated a traffic stop and Karhu complained that the other vehicle had cut him off, the report said.
The officer found that Karhu’s license had been suspended in July for financial responsibilities.
Karhu was issued criminal citations for driving while license suspended and reckless driving. He has a mandatory Sept. 9 court date. His vehicle was towed from the scene.
