I’ve been a member of The Villages Health System for five years and love the professionalism and quality of care I’ve had.
The model you created for my first 4 years worked like a charm. No waiting for my appointment time. Easy to make appointment, ease of portal to allow communication with doctor.
However, starting last year when I tried to see my doctor the open appointment times were as much as a 4-5 month wait!
It seems especially during the season the snowbirds were allowed to use the system for their winter use – flooding the doctors’ appointment schedules. So they decided to have doctors here as well as their 6-7 month northern residence. Again as in the non-police of renters with multiple homes allowing people to use The Villages for their annual vacation spot! Flooding restaurants, doctors, and golf courses with part-time residents, not monitoring the 55-year-old law and having parents providing a home for their adult children.
And now we find that your family, who is worth BILLIONS, decided to cheat on medical billing as well as paying obscene administration salaries. I lived here for 20 years and have seen how the grandchildren and great-grand children of Harold Schwartz and Gary Morse have lost focus on providing an environment of what used to be a RETIREMENT community like no other.
Maybe you need to stop and step back and see what all of us have seen.
And finally, the last straw is how you decided to rip off the healthcare insurance providers and then declaring bankruptcy to escape the consequences.
