No one has reported the nationwide shortage in our pharmaceutical supply chain. There is a nationwide shortage of pain medications, benzodiazepines, albuterol ….

I have just contacted WESH 2 news and asked them to investigate. I have not been able to fill any of my prescriptions for the last four weeks.

The pharmacy simply continues to notify me that my prescriptions are “out of stock, on backorder, and they expect to fill them soon.”

UF Health-Shands admitted to me that the supply chain was broken. They told me they expected they would not have any of the Dilaudid or Lorazepam until April.

This is a direct result of targeting China and India with extreme tariffs.

I have asked WESH 2 and Newsweek to shine a light on this life-threatening result of the current administration’s policies.

The emergency rooms are holding onto what limited supplies they have. I am being discharged with a three-day supply and told to return to an ER if this short term intervention doesn’t hold and my pacemaker sends an emergency signal to my cardiologist.
