A winning lottery ticket worth over $67,000 that was sold recently at a gas station just north of The Villages is still unclaimed as of Monday.
The winning ticket worth $67,145.53 was sold for the evening drawing of the Florida Lottery’s Fantasy 5 game on Wednesday, Dec. 31.
According to the Florida Lottery, the ticket was purchased at the Sunoco located at 9945 SE Highway 42 in Summerfield.
The ticket was one of two winning tickets sold for the drawing. The other winning ticket was sold at the Circle T Food Store located at 522 NE 3rd Avenue in Fort Lauderdale.
The winning numbers for the evening drawing on December 31 were 1, 5, 6, 29, and 34.
While any retailer can validate a winning ticket worth less than $600, prizes ranging from $600 to $250,000 may be claimed at any Florida Lottery district office. Fantasy 5 top prize winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.
Fantasy 5 drawings are held twice daily, seven days a week, at 1:05 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. ET. Tickets may be purchased up to 20 minutes before a drawing.
