The Lady Lake Police Department and Target present “Coffee with a Cop” from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 8 at Target at Rolling Acres Plaza, offering residents and local business owners an opportunity to meet with officers in an informal setting.
The event will feature Chief Steve Hunt and several Lady Lake police officers, who will be available for casual conversation with community members. There is no formal agenda, and attendees are encouraged to stop by to ask questions, share feedback or simply get to know the officers who serve the community.
“Events like Coffee with a Cop give us the chance to step away from calls for service and have real, casual conversations with our residents and business owners,” Chief Hunt said. “Those everyday interactions help build trust, strengthen relationships and keep us connected to the community we serve.”
Free coffee and light refreshments will be provided, courtesy of Target. The event is designed to promote open communication, highlight the department’s commitment to community-oriented policing, and provide a welcoming environment for meaningful dialogue.
Target representatives said the company is proud to support local law enforcement and values opportunities to serve as a safe and welcoming gathering place for the community. Residents are encouraged to attend and take part in this informal opportunity to connect with the Lady Lake Police Department.
