To the Editor:
Round and round we go. Morse Boulevard is a thoroughfare. More traffic lights and stop signs, increased police ticketing may help in slowing traffic. That is all. Maybe. Those things need to be always present, not a blinking light and not “sometimes” police. Moving golf cart traffic off Morse will interrupt all neighborhoods along that north end and is costly. That is the only part of Morse that has the neighborhoods directly off of it. It will also further increase car/truck traffic and make golf carts less safe having to cross more streets. To say nothing of the cost and horrible construction disruptions. Cars have no right to stop on that street or any traffic circle to allow cars or golf carts to pass through on coming traffic. It’s not considerate -it’s dangerous. One thing that should happen is install speed tables as much of Tampa has or speed bumps. That slows traffic! Second print, and reprint and reprint rules of the road for cars vs golf carts. .
