A resident on the Historic Side of The Villages and her Belleview cohort were arrested with narcotics found in their hotel room here in Florida’s Friendliest Hometown.

Officers responded to a room at the Holiday Inn Express in The Villages regarding suspected credit card fraud, prostitution and narcotic activity around 4:25 p.m. Thursday, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. They spoke with 47-year-old Nicole Danielle Marie DiMattie before hotel staff, who wanted her and 33-year-old Breanna Renae Clubine trespassed from the establishment.

The officers escorted DiMattia to her room, where Clubine was sleeping in the bed. They saw narcotic paraphernalia in the hotel room and proceeded to search it, including DiMattia’s purse. It contained paperwork from a recent traffic stop and a clear container with 0.3 grams of fentanyl, the report said.

They moved on to the right side of a clothing drawer, discovering another clear container with 1 gram of methamphetamine and a piece of foil with burnt residue. Numerous other pieces of foil with burnt residue were found throughout the hotel room, the report said.

Additionally, Clubine gave a false name and birthdate when asked to identify herself. Dispatch could not find a match for her, at which time she revealed her true identity. This revealed she is currently on probation out of Marion County, the report said.

DiMattia was ultimately arrested on charges of possession of fentanyl, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The New Jersey native was booked at Lake County Jail without bond. She was also arrested in March 2024 for the theft of a Christmas tree and Grinch ornaments, and in March 2022 for stealing from Target at Rolling Acres Plaza.

Clubine was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, as well as false ID given to law enforcement officer. The Michigan native was booked at the jail and released after posting $4,500 bond. Her prior arrests include violating her probation in Sept. 2016 and stealing her grandfather’s gun in Jan. 2016.
