To the Editor:
As a charter school parent, I am deeply disappointed by The Villages Charter School’s decision to host Trump at the high school. Canceling class to host a convicted felon is a choice that I don’t believe reflects well on the school, and in my eyes you are putting politics above my child’s education. I cannot begin to express how upset I am, but I will not get into my personal political views, only that canceling school with less than a weeks notice and offering no viable alternatives for childcare is not family first in any way. It’s actually a huge middle finger to the people that make The Villages run smoothly.
