Lady Lake man arrested after animal pornography found on his laptop

A Lady Lake man was arrested when an officer found an animal pornography video on his laptop.

An officer met 72-year-old Kenneth Walter Reed at his residence at the Recreation Plantation RV Park on Monday afternoon, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. The officer was investigating allegations made against Reed about child pornography.

When told of the allegation, Reed gave the officer permission to review the files on his computer to dispel the claim. The officer proceeded to log onto Reed’s laptop while he stood behind him and watched, the report said.

The officer then selected a file labeled “Zoo.” It contained numerous videos with images of horses and dogs appearing with their genitals aroused with nude women. One of the videos depicted a woman having intercourse with a dog. There were no files containing any images or videos of underage persons, the report said.

Reed was subsequently arrested for possession of animal pornography. The Massachusetts native was booked at Lake County Jail with bond set at $2,500.
