A Leesburg woman was arrested for driving while license suspended after being pulled over in Lady Lake.

An officer received an alert about a white Nissan SUV heading northbound on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 around 11:25 a.m. Sunday, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. The registered owner, 52-year-old Cresandra Ann Tucker, had a revoked/cancelled driver’s license as of July 5, 2024, for being a habitual traffic offender.

Her driving history showed another cancellation on Aug. 13, 2025, along with seven other suspensions for offenses such as failure to appear, the report said.

As the SUV passed by the officer, he looked into the front windshield and determined that Tucker was the one driving. He then caught up to her near U.S. Hwy. 27/441 and Rolling Acres Road. She looked at him through her rear-view mirror before he stopped her in the Bank of America parking lot, the report said.

When asked for her driver’s license, Tucker stated she did not have it. She also admitted it was because her license had been suspended, the report said.

Tucker was arrested on charge of driving while license cancelled/revoked (habitual offender). She was booked at Lake County Jail and released after posting $2,500 bond.
