Thank you to letter writer who took eloquent stance on Pride Month

To the Editor:

I just want to say thank you Becky Schaff for saying so eloquently what so many of us believe. EVERYONE, regardless of religious affiliation, political views, color of skin, or how we live our lives should be afforded the same respect and friendship that we afford to those that are “the same as us.” Difference is what has made our country something to be proud of. I am hopeful that we can all learn to treat one another respectfully. Thank you Becky for your response to this online news site. And I would love to have a listing of all of the LBGTQ activities taking place in June so that I can support the people who have selected this lifestyle as their own.
