A vaping Villager was caught on camera attacking a 77-year-old neighbor who was mowing the lawn at a neighboring patio villa.
Sheree Doris Moskal, 72, of the Placida Villas, was arrested Friday afternoon following the neighborhood ruckus.

According to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, the victim was outside mowing a neighbor’s yard when Moskal suddenly ran onto the property waving what the victim believed to be a Bic lighter. She allegedly attacked the man, pushing him and causing him to fall to the ground.
The victim responded by grabbing Moskal and using a “wrestling move” to take her to the ground in an attempt to restrain her for his own safety. While pinned, Moskal attempted to bite the victim’s hands multiple times and yelled for her husband’s help. Her husband came outside and escorted her back to their house, at which point the victim dialed 911.
When deputies interviewed Moskal, she claimed she had been sitting outside using her vape when she heard a noise. She alleged that she ran in the opposite direction, but the victim grabbed her, pushed her to the ground, and held her there.
To back up her claim, Moskal provided deputies with footage from her own Ring security camera. However, upon reviewing the video, deputies noted that Moskal, completely unprovoked, stood up from a table, ran into the neighbor’s yard, pushed the victim to the ground, and knocked over the lawnmower. The report noted the footage clearly identified her as the primary aggressor, completely contradicting her story while corroborating the victim’s account.
The victim suffered redness on his right knee and a sore right index finger. A criminal history check revealed the Huntington, California, native had no prior battery convictions.
Moskal was arrested on a felony charge of battery on a person 65 years of age or older and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. She was released after posting a $5,000 bond.
