To the Editor:

While typing this, I do not know what title the V-N.com will use, but it should read “Reflecting pool vandals arrested.”

Mr. Sutton, in his letter, used the terms “fiasco,” “fraud,” and “waste” to attack President Trump concerning the state of the refurbished Reflecting Pool. I quote from his letter: “And he certainly should not be making up unprovable theories, like vandalism.”

Well, Mr. Sutton—and all the Democrats and gutless, spineless trolls parroting him on this site—listen to this: From the Tampa Free Press on June 25, 2026, federal law enforcement officials have taken six individuals into custody following a significant act of vandalism at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington, D.C. Investigators are currently tracking an additional five or six suspects who were captured on surveillance video at the scene.

According to officials, the perpetrators used knives and razor blades to systematically slice through 350 feet of the pool’s newly installed plastic lining. The damage consists of numerous localized cuts, many measuring roughly one foot in length. In addition to damaging the pool structure, the vandals poured acid across the expansive lawn surrounding the monument, killing large patches of grass.

I hope that they get the maximum of 10 years for damaging federal property, but some left-wing lunatic judge will probably let them skate, calling it “free speech.”
