A woman was arrested after a girl fight over cash at a known drug house in The Villages.
Lady Lake police officers were called to a home on DeSota Court in the Village of Mira Mesa, where 57-year-old Heather Jurgensen claimed she had been the victim of a violent attack. Jurgensen told officers she was “grabbed by the hair, thrown to the ground, and beaten by another female” in the residence, claiming that “multiple people in the house” witnessed the assault.

However, the other woman involved offered a starkly different account. She told police that Jurgensen—who was arrested on drug charges this past April—was actually the aggressor. She alleged that Jurgensen attacked her and attempted to grab her purse. She further claimed that Jurgensen threatened her with a knife, though officers noted that no weapon was recovered at the scene.
A male witness told officers that Jurgensen appeared “intoxicated” and confirmed he saw her armed with a knife at one point during the dispute.
Jurgensen, who has previous battery convictions from 2017 and 2019, was arrested on a felony charge of battery. Because her bond from the April arrest had been revoked, she was booked without bond at the Lake County Jail.
The residence at 210 DeSota Court has been a frequent source of police activity:
-
In March, two men were arrested at the home following an altercation that resulted in a woman being hospitalized.
-
In 2021, the son of a Villager, who had a lengthy criminal history, was arrested at the residence after he was found in possession of heroin and fentanyl.
