An opening date has been announced for the new AdventHealth Emergency Room facility on County Road 466A in Fruitland Park.
The facility will begin caring for patients on July 21.
The 14,000 square foot facility includes 12 patient rooms and is staffed by a comprehensive clinical team, including board-certified emergency medicine physicians and nurses. It also houses on-site respiratory therapy, a full-service laboratory, as well as CT, X-ray and ultrasound equipment to quickly diagnose and treat patients.
The new ER is located near Colony Plaza in The Villages.
