A wrong-way driver crashed into two other vehicles Tuesday night on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 in Lady Lake.
Two people were airlifted from the scene of the crash which tied up traffic on the busy thoroughfare.
Sylvia Dangervil, 33, of Hinesville, Ga. had been at the wheel of a 2010 Nissan Maxima at 6:32 p.m. when her northbound vehicle crossed over into the southbound lanes of U.S. Hwy. 27/441 near Temple Hill Road, according to an accident report from the Lady Lake Police Department.
Her vehicle crashed into a 2014 Toyota Camry driven by 45-year-old Quang Dac Ho of Fruitland Park and a 2006 Hyundai Sonata driven by 61-year-old Gary David Cohen of Bradenton.

Cohen had to be extricated from his vehicle and was helicoptered to Ocala Regional Medical Center for possible broken legs.
A rear-seat passenger in Ho’s vehicle was also airlifted to ORMC due to altered levels of consciousness following the crash. A front-seat passenger in Ho’s vehicle was transported by ambulance to Leesburg Regional Medical Center for treatment of head and hand injuries. Ho was treated at the scene.
Dangervil was transported to LRMC for complaints of pain to her left side. She was also ticketed on a charge of failure to drive in a single lane.
