Monica Wofford has been named interim CEO of United Way of Lake & Sumter Counties. She succeeds Dr. Alan Holden who has stepped down from the leadership role.
Wofford has served on the United Way board and executive board and has experience in both the non-profit and corporate leadership arena. She is a 20-year Lake County resident.
A search will be launched for a permanent CEO.
“Monica will continue to hold the role of CEO of leadership training firm Contagious Companies, Inc while working closely with her team to manage day to day operations,” said Michael David Herrera, board chair of the United Way of Lake & Sumter Counties.
