Residents of the North and South Villa De La Mesa neighborhood may experience water outages on a daily basis as water lines are upgraded.
The Village Center Community Development District has initiated a Water Service Line Replacement Program in the Villages. The water system has had numerous repairs to individual homes, according to neighbors, which has led to the District initiating a Water Service Line Replacement Program in the Villages Center Service Area (VCSA).

The potable water system in VCSA is aging and the project will see the replacement of service lines, significantly reducing the future potential for leaks.

During the project, water outages may occur at different times, depending on which area workers are concentrating on. No residents will be without water service during overnight hours. No residents will be without water service during overnight hours. Residents’ water will be off no more than eight hours during the construction and residents will be given 24-hour notice of when their service will be impacted. If necessary, residents will be issued boil orders.
The District Office is asking everyone in the affected area to abide by all barricades and warning signs.
