A man with a long history of trespassing was arrested after he had to be forcibly removed from a gas station in Lady Lake.
An officer recognized 35-year-old Sean Glenn Rigsby at Sunoco, located at 413 S U.S. Hwy. 27/441, around 12:25 a.m. Tuesday, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. He knew Rigsby from numerous prior encounters on the property.

The officer then approached him inside the store as he messed around with the trash. After being told he was under arrest, he pulled away and tried to drop his body weight. The officer advised him several times to stop resisting, but he continued to pull away. He started to drag his feet and was ultimately carried out of the store, the report said.
Rigsby had been previously trespassed from Sunoco by the Lady Lake Police Department on May 22 and by upper management. He also had more than three arrests in the past six months, the report said.
He was charged with trespass after warning and resisting arrest without violence. He was transported to Lake County Jail with bond set at $2,000.
Rigsby has a long history of trespassing, including Wawa in Jan. 2023. He has returned to his brother’s house three times in July 2025, Aug. 2025 and Jan. 2017.
