A Villager who was spotted swerving on Morse Boulevard in a golf cart is facing a charge of driving under the influence.
Jennifer Ducat, 56, of the Village of Del Mar, was booked Monday at the Sumter County Detention Center on a felony charge of driving the influence.

Her arrest stems from an incident at about 1 p.m. Nov. 1 on Morse Boulevard in the area of Madero Drive, according to an incident report from the Sumter County Sheriffs’ Office.
Ducat was driving a green Club Car golf cat when a couple in a golf cart behind her noticed she was swerving between the white line and the grass. Fearing that Ducat was impaired or suffering a medical episode, the couple dialed 911.
Ducat was taken to a medical facility for an evaluation. A deputy later obtained a subpoena for her medical records which showed she had blood alcohol content .523.
Last year, Ducat lost her driver’s license after falling out of her golf cart at Palmer Legends Country Club. At the time of that arrest, she had a blood alcohol content of .399.
