A Wildwood woman and her Ocala cohort were arrested Friday for the theft of two Yamaha side-by-sides and some Milwaukee tools.
A deputy responded to a theft, later found to involve 30-year-old Elizabeth Ann Anklam and 27-year-old Christopher Ryan Holmes, in Sumterville on Jan. 26, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

The female complainant advised that two red Yamaha U-Max side-by-sides had been stolen from a storage shed on the property.
Serial numbers for the side-by-sides were then given to the deputy who entered them as stolen. Each one was valued at $11,685. Additionally, a $200 Milwaukee hammer drill and a $200 Milwaukee drill were reported stolen, bringing the total up to $23,770, the report said.
It was not until last week that the stolen property was found during a separate investigation. Deputies had driven out to 916 W Clarke St., Wildwood, to see multiple golf carts along with the two side-by-sides. Although a different man was charged for that incident, Anklam and Holmes were on scene, the report said.
A search warrant was created, and on Thursday, Feb. 5, the side-by-sides and the tools were recovered. One of the red Yamahas was spray painted silver, causing an estimated $600 in damage to the body, the report said.
Anklam and Holmes were ultimately arrested Friday afternoon for grand theft, criminal mischief and burglary of an unoccupied structure (unarmed). They were subsequently transported to the Sumter County Detention Center.
Anklam was jailed on a $15,000 bond with an additional hold out of Bay County.
Her priors include using an access road owned by CSX Railroad in Aug. 2025, felony theft at Walmart in Aug. 2023, and having a baby in a filthy home without electricity in Oct. 2014.
Holmes was being held on an $11,000 bond.
