A new medical marijuana dispensary that was built at the site of a former car wash north of The Villages was just sold for $1.87 million.

Goldflower Cannabis, which opened its doors at 16714 U.S. Highway 441 in Summerfield earlier this month, was purchased by KP FL, LLC from Scrubs II, LLC, for $1,870,000 on Friday, March 13.
Quality Car Wash acquired the property over 25 years ago in November 2000 for $132,598. The site operated as a self-serve car wash for many years before it was acquired by Scrubs II from Quality Car Wash Inc. for $175,000 in June 2019.

Although the original building at the site was built in 1998, property records show that renovations on that building began in late 2025.
Although the new dispensary has the basic outline of its predecessor, the structure has been completely built out and renovated. On March 3, Goldflower announced that the new site in Summerfield had officially opened for business.
State corporate records show that KP FL, LLC is registered to Steven Kriebel, the president and founder of engineering and contracting services company Response Services. Scrubs II, LLC, is owned by Michael Wasik and John Peloso.
The latest sale of yet another commercial property comes on the heels of several similar sales near The Villages.
Last month, The Spruce Creek Terrace Shoppes, which is located less than two miles south of Goldflower, was sold for $13,475,000.

Better Times RV Community in Lake Panasoffkee was sold for $3.05 million to a Tampa-based management group in January.
That same month, the Days Inn by Wyndham located in Wildwood was sold by Villages Hospitality LLC to Gunatit Hospitality LLC for $7,275,000.
In late December, Inter Continental Real Estate Development acquired a property along County Road 470 for $12.4 million.
