Three candidates qualify to run for vacant commission seat in Lady Lake

Three candidates have qualified to run for a vacant commission seat in Lady Lake.

The Ward 2 seat on the commission will be filled during a special election set for March 24. The special election was called after the death of Commissioner John Gourlie.

The three candidates who have qualified for run are:

• Jason Accurso

• Maggie Geraghty

• Amanda McLea

The term of office will expire in November 2028.
