An assisted living facility serving The Villages was recently sold for over $9 million to a company that builds, owns, and manages healthcare facilities all over the world.
HearthStone at Wildwood was sold by WW Senior Housing RE LLC to Wildwood Propco 1 LLC for $9,475,500 on March 1, according to a deed filed with the Sumter County Clerk of Courts.

Located at 10422 Regatta Boulevard in Oxford, the 3.79-acre site sits along County Road 472, just north of Lakeside Landings, and west of the Lake Miona Shores Recreation Center.
Built in 2024, HearthStone at Wildwood offers memory care with 24-hour, on-site medical staff and health monitoring. Senior apartments within the assisted living program start at $4,049 a month, and memory care apartments start at $6,295 a month.
In addition to assistance with daily living, the facility features a beauty salon, an event center, social events, transportation services, utilities, and housekeeping, among other services.

Sumter County property records show that WW Senior Housing purchased the multi-acre parcel for $2,180,000 in December 2021.
State corporate records show that Wildwood Propco 1 LLC is registered to Healthpeak, a healthcare real estate investment trust that purchases and manages outpatient and lab properties.
The company’s portfolio features over 70 different healthcare properties across the United States, including five others in the state of Florida.
The sale of yet another commercial property comes amidst several similar high-dollar transactions.
In late March, a property in Bushnell that features a Wawa that opened earlier this year was sold for $2.585 million.
A week prior, a prominent local restaurateur family purchased a warehouse property just north of The Villages for $2.45 million.
Earlier that month, a New York-based investment group with over $4 billion in profits acquired over 44 acres near The Villages for $5.49 million.
In late February, a San Francisco-based real estate investment firm acquired an apartment complex next to The Villages for $8.65 million.
In mid-February, Blackstone, which is the world’s largest asset management group, purchased a 10.94-acre parcel across from Brownwood for $4.5 million.
In late January, a shopping center in Sumter County was sold for $2.1 million to a family of professionals who serve The Villages. That family also owns a mega-mansion in Windermere that was previously owned by Shaquille O’Neal.
