This model plane landed Friday morning on a roof in the Village of Glenbrook.

The owners of a home in the Village of Glenbrook were surprised when a small remote control plane crash-landed Friday morning on the roof of their home.

Roy and Sharon Lomanno heard a loud “thud” on the roof and discovered the plane at about 9:30 a.m.

The plane had a wing span of about 5 to 6 feet.

“Community Watch was helpful in finding the rightful owner,” said Sharon Lomanno.

The Villages Safety Public Department retrieved the plane from their roof, she added.

No damage was reported.
