Beauty from the burn

Many Villagers were looking skyward Tuesday afternoon and wondering about the billowing smoke coming from the west.

It was a prescribed burn.

Prescribed burns are used to reduce hazardous fuel buildups, thus providing increased protection to people, their homes and the forest.
