Search and rescue team to join in hunt for Villager’s missing Boston Terrier

Hope
Hope

The Boondocks K-9 Human Search and Rescue team will conduct a search Wednesday afternoon for a female Boston Terrier named Hope from the Village of Dunedin, where she was seen last week after slipping from her collar and running away.

Hope’s owner, Kerrin Conklin, along with another witness, last saw Hope running in either the direction of Ivawood Way or Pickering Path.

The rescue dog is described as a Boston Terrier mix with a brindle color, little white nose, and white chest. Because Hope slipped out of her collar, she has no tag but is micro-chipped.

The search has been difficult according to Conklin because Hope is “scared of everything” and possibly could be hiding.

There had been no sign of Hope since Feb. 9. If you have seen Hope, please contact Kerrin Conklin at (912) 856-1827.
