Susan G. Kantor

Susan G. Kantor, age 64, of The Villages, FL, passed from this life on June 9, 2017. Susan was born in Elizabeth, NJ to Lillian and the late Carl Geiger and raised in Rahway, NJ.

She graduated from Montclair State College with a B.A. in Chemistry and from Rutgers University with a M.S. in Library Science where she also pursued a Doctorate. She worked as a Technical Services Librarian at Exxon, Ethicon, Telcordia and L’Oréal, among other companies.

She enjoyed quilting, cooking, reading, painting and learning new languages.

Susan is survived by her son James R. Kantor and his wife Gemila of Belle Mead, NJ; step children Kevin Kantor of Parlin, NJ and Kimberly Kantor of The Villages, FL, and Kim’s children Ryan and Tyler. She is also survived by her mother Lillian Geiger, sister Patricia Olsen and brother Carl Geiger all of North Carolina. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 32 years Joseph Kantor who passed in January of 2017.

A memorial service will be held in New Jersey at a later date.
