Charlie Crist’s Democratic running mate to visit The Villages in August

Gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist’s running mate Annette Taddeo will speak to The Villages Democratic Club on Aug. 9 at Colony Cottage Recreation Center.

Taddeo was tapped in July to run with Crist on the Democratic ticket. She is the chairwoman of the Miami-Dade Democratic Party.

The meeting will be begin at 10 a.m. Doors open at 9:30 a.m.

Club members are asked to bring donations of food and money for the Wildwood Food Pantry.  Current food needs are Spaghettios, Raviolios (canned pastas w/meat), canned meats, boxed Jell-O, pork and beans, beef stew, tuna, mac & cheese, and cereal.
